I love this series and my thanks go to publisher Orion for providing an early copy of the book for review and to Tracy Fenton, of Compulsive Readers, for inviting me to join the tour. When she arrives at Embassy Row, she sees Alexei and has a panic attack, forcing him to carry her to bed. So with the help of friends, she went to follow and observe this man and she felt really close now in figuring out what really happened in the night her mother died.

I would like to thank Netgalley and Orion Publishing Group for an advance copy of All Fall Down, the ninth novel to feature DI Helen Grace of the Southampton Police. It is the first book in the Embassy Row series set in and around the diplomatic quarter of a Mediterranean capital city. We are not responsible for the republishing of the content found on this blog on other Web sites or media without our permission. His panic is only increased when his hired driver takes him on a route with which he is not familiar. I’ve read a lot of gloomy takes on climate breakdown over the last year, and it is easy to feel downhearted. The novel's title is meant to draw attention to the effect of the self-motivated, destructive passions unleashed within the family home in the course of its story. Of course the book would not be complete without Helen herself putting her life on the line and ending up injured!

I highly recommend this read with a good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and cant wait to see what happens in book 10. Grace's mother Caroline was killed in what she believes was a murder, but is told by her family was a fire.No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins.

I was at my last school for 4 years and we had ********* book fairs every term – and every term, I was disappointed by the narrow range of books. As to the killer they are one twisted, cruel individual, and as slippery as a snake, always staying one step ahead of the investigation team.Sally Nicholls has a rare ability to tell a story from the past by making it both of its time and also accessible for today’s readers. I’m thrilled that Andersen Press are re-publishing All Fall Down, but saddened that, in the seven years since it was first released, it seems to have become such a timely book. Isabel and her family live in a small village near York and rumours are rife that the pestilence is relentlessly making its way towards them. Because if they’re meant to be a reflection of the young adult, it’s a rather one dimensional view of us.

While All Fall Down is an historical novel about death and survival during the Black Death, there is also a wonderful coming-of-age element to the story. The series is set in Southampton just down the road from me, which I enjoy as I can actually picture some of the places mentioned. Though, I would recommend people to have some understanding of embassies and how they work in our world before heading into this book, because I imagine it can be a little confusing at the start for some when nothing is yet explained. Today I’m thrilled to be sharing my review for All Fall Down, the latest book in the Detective Helen Grace series. This book can easily be read as a stand alone novel, although you may miss some of the background of the Detectives.

In a fit of anger, Rosie snatches Lila's scarf, but the wind blows it out of her hands and lands on the Iranian flagpole. Common Sense Media in reviewing All Fall Down wrote "This may not be high literature, but tweens and teens may get hooked on the series. But for the survivors of the terrible plague, a new and freer society will rise from the destruction of the feudal system that enslaved her family.
